A 32-year-old woman, Kirsty Leigh McMaster, has admitted to getting up to no good inside St Mary’s Chapel on Chapel Lane, right in the middle of Belfast. She’s now waitin’ to hear what punishment’s comin’ her way next month.

McMaster, who’s currently banged up with no fixed abode, was up in Belfast Crown Court today, where she pled guilty to outragin’ public decency. The court heard she was homeless at the time and battlin’ addiction issues.

The judge, Philip Gilpin, has ordered a pre-sentence report, and she’s due back in court for sentencing on March 27.

Meanwhile, her partner in crime, Sean Paul Russell (37) from Downpatrick, didn’t bother showin’ up today. His day in court is set for March 3.

The whole carry-on kicked off on May 18 last year, when shocked onlookers rang the peelers, sayin’ a couple were at it inside the church. When the cops landed, the pair weren’t too happy to be caught in the act and let fly with a foul-mouthed tirade.

McMaster later told the cops she was steamin’ and thought any bold behaviour happened outside the chapel.

For now, she’s been sent back to the clink until her sentencing next month.
